Over the past few years, numerous dental congresses and seminars have been held by the Arab Countries of The Persian Gulf in which a falsified title for the "Gulf" has been presented. This approach was employed in an attempt to establish an identity for a fabricated title. The Iranian Association of Oral and Maxiofacial Surgeons is now  hosting The Second Persian Gulf Implant Congress which will be held from February 29 to March 2, 2012.
